THE AESTHETICS OF THE FACE

What aesthetic treatments we do?

Botox

Botox is a natural purified protein produced by Clostidium botulinum bacterium, which blocks the transmission of nerve signals to the muscles, thereby preventing muscle contraction. In recent years, is used in medicine to treat various diseases of muscles and nervous system, as well as in therapy reduce excessive sweating in the armpits.

The use of Botox in aesthetic medicine

Although Botox in aesthetic medicine uses only the last few years, it is widely accepted in the treatment of cleaving and reduce wrinkles on the face. Facial wrinkles are a result of the daily movement of muscles and facial skin with the aim of expressing emotion. The contraction and relaxation of muscles is particularly visible on both sides of the nose, between the eyebrows and around the eyes. Botox injections block the work of the desired muscle resulting in a unsightly facial movements. The skin of the treated area becomes smoother and with fewer wrinkles, reducing the effect of rejuvenation. The best results are achieved in the upper third of the face, reducing or even eliminating the wrinkles around the eyes, between the eyebrows and on the forehead.

Results of botox are achieved in a short time, the first effect after 24-48 hours, and one week after surgery to see the final result. Due to its effect decreases over time, depending on the patient and in the application, the treatment should be repeated every few months. After several applications, muscle tone is reduced, thus they become smoother, and skin above them.

The use of Botox in dentistry

The use of Botox in dentistry (Botox® or Dentox® in dentistry) is a simple non-surgical procedure. Therapy consists of several applications of small injections of Botox directly into the muscle that wants to ‘paralyse’. By blocking certain facial muscles can help TMD patients (bruxism) to reduce repetition and strength of bite. In this way reduces the destructive effect on the teeth, gums and jaw joint, as well as discomfort, pain, facial and masticatory muscles. The advantage of Botox is temporary, and its effect, which is important for enhanced muscle blocks. Repeat the procedure can lead to muscle atrophy and the decline in arrivals for treatment.

Fillers Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid is a component of the skin and its deficiency leads to the formation of wrinkles and satisfactory facial esthetics. The amount contained in the skin with age is reduced and must be compensated for by entering artificial hyaluronic acid.

Aesthetic treatments with hyaluronic acid

It is an injection treatment that the skin enters the filler (filler) for wrinkle removal and prevention of skin aging.

In our dental office we use Juvederm and Restylane fillers which are one of the most famous producers of fillers in the world. It is a special gel which is hyaluronic acid substrate, which is very similar to that in our skin. This is a product of non-animal origin, which means a non-toxic combination with minimal risk of allergy with a minimum sensitivity of the skin at the site of entry.

Treatments can be tailored to each patient individually according to his wishes, and the results are immediately visible. The gel is translucent and is entered under the skin at low dosages in order to increase the volume and improving the skin structure. Also not in any way disturb the mime and facial appearance. The world as Juvederm and Restylane dermal fillers applied in over 10 million procedures, which demonstrates the success and safety of these products.

The durability of treatment effect is very individual and averaged 6-12 months, even up to 18 months in case of repeated treatments. In this way there is a possibility of repeating the treatment in order to maintain the achieved results.

Hyaluronic acid is used to achieve the effect of skin rejuvenation, for smoothing the folds and wrinkles, lip augmentation and shaping facial contours. Frequently use areas are the nasolabial folds (from the root of the nose to the corner of his mouth), glabellar lines (between the eyebrows), wrinkles around the mouth and eyes, but can also be used for other areas.
